The 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia Fan House opened in Buenos Aires

The Fan House was opened in the capital of Argentina, Buenos Aires, at the Russian Center for Science and Culture (RCSC) to mark the forthcoming 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia, as TASS reported.

“Let this be the starting point on the way to the dream of all Argentines,” said the head of the Argentina Football Association Claudio Tapia.

According to the Russian ambassador to Argentina Victor Koronelli, the launching of the Fan House is no doubt a momentous event.

“Argentina is one of the most football countries in the world, for Argentines football is not just a hobby, it is an integral part of life, and that’s why we’ve had so much attention paid to this event, that’s why there have been so many representatives from the press, so many guests,” the ambassador said.

Koronelli noted that tickets for World Cup matches were acquired by more than 15,000 Argentines. A few thousand more are in anticipation to visit Russia without matches tickets to watch the tournament on big screens and at sports bars.
